Greetings from the President.....
In reflecting on what I've completed home-wise, I also realize that my family research hasn't been as neglected as I first thought. My "PPFRT" is alive and working for me! For example, I've attended monthly evening Genealogy Class at the WFPL and have started organizing my files and years of collected data. I am working with a tutor to improve my computer skills--slow, tedious and frustrating--but we're plugging forward and I'm excited with every new entry into my program. Registration for the TSGS 2009 Conference in San Antonio is completed and I can't wait to attend. NTGA has made such strides that our own Joan Gray is in the State competition for Volunteer of the Year. In addition, Vicki McMullen is in competition for the Website of the Year award. And, we have 9 of our NTGA members headed for San Antonio to support them. What team spirit and testimonial for our enthusiasm and commitment to our family history!
You may not function under my "PPFRT" philosophy but take heart...I bet you have your own. And I know that some day my efforts will lead me to a more complete family history that will provide a background for a truer reflection of Me! A goal worth pursuing!!! Good Luck in your Journey!
